About the National health fellows program
The National Health Fellows Program is a flagship initiative under Nigeria’s Health Sector Renewal Initiative, approved by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR. The program aims to strengthen the healthcare system by engaging young professionals in leadership roles across all 774 local government areas in Nigeria.
The fellowship is hosted by the Sector Wide Approach (SWAp) Coordination Office under the Federal Ministry of Health and Social Welfare. It focuses on capacity building, leadership development, and enhancing accountability in healthcare delivery.

Eligibility Criteria
