Eligibility Criteria for PTDF Overseas Scholarship 2025
- Must have a minimum of Second Class Upper (2:1) OR Second Class Lower (2:2) with relevant industry experience
- Must have completed National Youth Service Corps (NYSC)
- Five (5) O’Level credits including English Language and Mathematics
- Must be computer literate
- A valid National Identity Number (NIN) with NIMC verification
- A Statement of Purpose (max 500 words) explaining study motivation and its relevance to the Nigerian oil and gas sector.
- Must have completed NYSC
- Five (5) O’Level credits including English and Mathematics
- Minimum of Second Class Lower (2:2) in first degree and a good Master’s degree
- Must submit a research proposal (max 5 pages) covering: topic, objectives, methodology, and data collection
- A valid NIN with NIMC verification
- Academic staff must provide a letter from their Vice Chancellor indicating they’re not beneficiaries of any other scholarship.

- O’Level Results (WAEC/NECO) with result checker PIN
- Recent passport photograph
- Local Government Identification Letter
- Master’s Certificate (PhD applicants only)
