About the Fellowship

The Youth Leading Change Program (YLCP) Fellowship 2025, organized by Bridge Connect Africa Initiative (BCAI) with the support of the Nigeria Youth Futures Fund (NYFF), is now open for applications. This fellowship is designed to empower young leaders across Northwest Nigeria with the tools, networks, and resources needed to drive sustainable social change within their communities.

The 10-month hybrid program combines learning, mentorship, policy engagement, and community development, positioning participants as catalysts for governance and development impact in the region.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Applicants must be between 18–35 years old.
  • Must reside in one of the seven Northwest states: Kano, Kaduna, Katsina, Sokoto, Zamfara, Kebbi, or Jigawa.
  • Minimum educational qualification: Secondary School Certificate. Candidates with Diploma, Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD degrees are also eligible.
